On March 17th 2020 I visited a few Facebook groups for children and families workers and wrote: "With Church closures all around I am going to be producing and sharing family resources for holding your own home Bible studies. I'll post them on here and other groups I am part of but if you need any extra resources let me know and I will see if I can help."
I had no idea what I was starting, I had no idea what God was going to do and I definitely did not expect what happened next. Ten months on Together at Home has a Facebook group with nearly 5000 members from all over the world, the resources I have shared have been translated into 11 different languages and I have no idea how far and wide they have spread. In Esther 4:14 Mordecai says "And who knows, you may have been chosen queen for just such a time as this." The phrase "for such a time as this" is one I have pondered a lot in this season. Together at Home has given me the confidence to do something I have put off for many years, launching my business www.foundationstones.co.uk, it has connected me with the wider church in a brand new way and I have loved hearing how the resources have blessed so many. I have a lot of thoughts while I am creating and sharing the resources which I wanted to be able to share with all those children and families workers who are doing such an amazing and exhausting job during these strange times. This blog is my way of sharing them with you all. I can't promise to post consistently, but I am trusting that God will use my words here just as he has used the resources I have shared. Jess x
